Van trip to the coast

http://inklingsandyarns.com/2011/11/page/2/ Vada is starting to do much better entertaining herself in the backseat. It helps that her car seat has cup holders and that Jamie rides back there with her much of the time.

We visited a sea lion cave. The pictures in the actual cave overlooking the sea lions are too dark to see anything so you get the picture of Vada and I by the sea lion statue outside. Vada had no reference for sea lions and kept asking if they would roar.

We stopped at some amazing beaches. Too bad the wind was frigid! The tiny specs in the middle are Toban and Jamie running around in circles.

Mexican food for lunch before he drive home. Vada had a hard time waiting for her guacamole but once it arrived she was all business. We didn’t hear a peep out of her the entire meal until she announced she was all done and climbed down from her chair.
