Christmas travels

Greensborough We successfully navigated the airports at Christmas! Since we used miles we were at the mercy of the airlines and ended up flying through Houston on the way to Wichita and then Chicago on the way home. But the airlines showed their Christmas spirit by moving us to first class for the final flight leg! We were much appreciative of the extra room and better food when we were all the most exhausted. Our biggest crisis was when we had to pry yellow blankie from Vada’s hands at the Wichita security line. We eagerly watched and waited for blankie to come through the security scanner. Just as we caught sight of it though, the security man snatched it to scan it again! Vada gave security a warranted scowl when yellow blankie was finally returned to her.
