Halloween

This was the first year that Vada cared about Halloween. And it was a huge success! She loved her piglet costume! She was brave enough to go up to neighbors doors and say trick or treat! Vada officially loves Halloween.

And Toban got us tickets to a Halloween party at a partner company’s office downtown. They decorated spaces on all five floors of their building and even had ponies outside!

The first floor of the building was decorated like Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory!

Not part of the Halloween stuff but Vada insisted on taking a break here on this chair to eat some candy.

There was even an exotic animal guy with snakes, turtles, spiders, frogs and lizards.

Vada’s Rock Climbing B-day Party

Vada chose to have her birthday party at a rock gym in Portland! We invited all her friends from daycare and had a blast. We had a brief break for cupcakes but the kids wanted to climb!

Birthday Dollhouse

We picked out a dollhouse for Vada for her birthday. Toban put it together during the KSU game while Vada was napping and we let her discover it when she woke up. We think she is going to have a lot of fun with it!

Grandma & Grandpa

My Mom and Dad came to visit to kick start Vada’s birthday weekend!

They brought a microphone for Vada! It took her awhile to get warmed up to do a solo but once she got comfortable it was awesome.

Where’s Vada?

We have been having lovely fall weather here which means that Vada comes home sandy every day! Today when I picked her up I found her under this red bucket.

Piglet!

Vada has been set on being a pink pig for Halloween. Not sure where this idea came from. For awhile we discussed being Olivia the Pig but in the end she just wanted to be a pink pig. I found this Piglet costume online and it arrived yesterday during nap time. Vada loves it!
