Kindergarten for real!

Today is Vada’s first all day of kindergarten on her own. Big day! Her teachers are Sylvie and Luc.

Welcome day at kindergarten!

Today was a short visit day at kindergarten with parents. We met Vada’s teachers and classmates and spent time playing in her classroom and on the playground.

Last day of preschool

We checked out of preschool for the last time today. Vada has been at my work’s daycare since she was a baby! We said a lot of goodbyes to teachers and friends. Vada’s friends Andy and Cora posed for some pictures as we left. Andy yelled out superhero pose… But Vada’s pose looks a bit more super model than hero.

I took a Japanese ikebana floral arrangement class this week. It was so much fun!

Vada finished her summer reading program today! 36 sessions of 30 minutes each. Next summer I hope she can read some of the books to me.

Vada has a week of kindergarten camp at her new school this week. She was so excited to pick out a lunch box and pack a lunch!
