Ice cream truck

While we were enjoying dinner on the back deck we heard the distinctive tinkling sound… ice cream truck. We have moved a bit further into the woods so I didn’t believe it could be… but Vada believed and ran out to the street. I sent her with a few dollars and she came back with this!

Daisy

Vada graduated from being a Girl Scout Daisy this week. When things start back up again in the fall she will be a Brownie.

Art Field Trip

I was a chaperone on Vada’s school field trip today to look for art on the streets of Portland.

Boat

Vada and I enjoyed Sunday afternoon on a friends boat. She loved the speed and the bumps especially when we rode up front.

Squirrels 

Vada and her friend Emerson gave a presentation on squirrels this week at school. 

Bunny 

A bunny was found near the house we were staying at. Luckily it was the last day otherwise Vada would not have gotten anything else done.
