When I was getting Vada settled at daycare this morning the fire alarms went off. They have required fire drills once a month. I tried to sneak out the front door but was told I had to follow protocol. The babies were loaded up into cribs and wheeled out the nearest exit. The teachers must have had a heads up because they all had shoes on. I had to avoid the goose poop in my socks! Vada was a quick thinker and grabbed a toy to play with!

Another ponytail for Locks of Love and a preview of what Vada will look like with hair.
I’ve started wearing Vada in a sling while I get around in the morning. She likes to chew on a toy or drift off to sleep. Here she’s doing a bit of both.
Vada has started to reach for us and today she started kissing.

Well she didn’t get to have any today, but Vada got to practice with chopsticks to be ready when she gets a little older. Toban is ready to have a friend to go on sushi runs with him.
