Another good week for Vada

Vada had a great week at daycare… even though she started Monday morning at the doctor's office. She didn't feel great over the weekend so Toban took her in and found out she has an ear infection. Her first since the ear tubes were put in so not too bad. And now since she has the tubes we can give her medicine via ear drops right into the infected ear rather than harsh oral antibiotics on her entire little body.

But back to the better parts of her week… She got to go play in the rock gym on campus! It didn't rain much this week so they also spent a lot of time outside – which she loves! And on Tuesday… Vada got to see Roger Federer and John McEnroe! Her teachers said she clapped right along with the crowd for them!

Vada’s week in the Swoosh room.

It seems like we haven't posted any pictures in a while, so I thought I would share the weekly recap from Vada's daycare. One of Vada's teachers is moving up to another classroom for a more senior position so that is what the last slide is all about. Vada will definitely miss her!

Saturday morning.

The sun was shining in this morning and Vada’s hair was standing up and out as much as it ever has.

We also played a round of peekaboo with the curtains to wake up Dada. Vada, where are you?

Snow!

We woke up to big fat wet snow flakes this morning. Toban bundled Vada in a blanket and took her around the house to experience the snow. When they got too cold and wet they came inside and watched the snow out the back windows with Jamie. Everything was melted and back to normal by lunchtime.
