We resorted to bribing Vada with a foot race down the moving sidewalk with Toban so that she would potty. It worked! And then Toban had to follow through.
We left the rain in Portland to enjoy the snow on Mt.Hood Sunday. I was bummed when Vada announced after only two sled runs that she was done. I was worried that she was too cold or got snow in her boots. But actually she just wanted to roll around and tromp through the snow. She soon had snow packed in every opening of her clothes and boots… And she loved every minute of it!
Vada had her 3 year wellness check-up this morning. It was the first time I had seen them use the arm blood pressure cuff. So tiny! The nurse told Vada it was going to give her arm a hug.
Ever since we helped the Grant’s put up their Christmas decorations after Thanksgiving Vada has been very aware of decorations everywhere. This morning was the annual greyhound Christmas tree sale so we official kicked off the season at our house!
Vada and I spent Thanksgiving in Kansas at AlnEmnCooper’s house.
Here’s a random collection of what we did in no particular order…
Vada chose to have her birthday party at a rock gym in Portland! We invited all her friends from daycare and had a blast. We had a brief break for cupcakes but the kids wanted to climb!
The daycare called a hat day today. Vada looked so adorable in her Dora hat!
